Accessibility
The AMA is committed to creating an accessible digital experience.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines suggestions to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The WCAG defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. To meet this commitment, the AMA strives to conform its web pages to meet or exceed the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508 standards and conform to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
Device Accessibility
In addition to ADA and WCAG guidelines, the AMA also makes a strong effort for its content to be accessible on various devices and technologies. For example, desktop, mobile, and tablet users with different screen sizes and interaction capabilities can access AMA resources in a way that is as consistent as possible across devices.
Information about accessing content across devices and how information is used can be reviewed in the Privacy Policy.
