Supercross Futures

Supercross Futures is a way for riders to not only earn points for their AMA Supercross license, but also offers the opportunity to showcase their skills on a professional-level Supercross track in stadiums at an AMA Supercross event.

The country will be divided into six regions with existing tracks serving as Primary qualifiers. The top 22 finishing riders in the primaries will be invited to race in a Premier qualifier. These Premier races will be held on Saturday at select Monster Energy AMA Supercross events. Riders finishing 1-11 will be awarded four points, while riders finishing 12-22 will be awarded two points. These points can be combined with the points earned in the above-mentioned events so long as they fall within the twenty-four-month period.

The top four riders from each Premier event will then advance to the Supercross Futures AMA National Championship, where twenty-four riders will compete for the title of AMA 250 SX Futures National Champion.

2024 Schedule

Four AMA Supercross events will serve as Premier qualifying rounds for the AMA Supercross Futures National Championship. Athletes competing in the 250 Futures Class will be awarded points towards their pro Supercross license based on their finishing positions at these Premier qualifying events.
