The British press reports that Indian billionaire Anand Mahindra plans to revive the famed BSA marque as soon as next year, but with a twist.

The new firm, BSA Company, would produce gas-powered and electric motorcycles in the Midlands of England beginning as early as mid-2021.

The Guardian newspaper reports Mahindra is chairman of the Mahindra Group conglomerate that is the world’s largest manufacturer of tractors and the 20th largest carmaker by sales.

Bill Tuman, a member of Indian Motocycle’s famous racing team dubbed the “Indian Wrecking Crew” and winner of five AMA Grand Nationals during a professional racing career that spanned from 1947 to 1955, has died. He was 99.

The Indian Wrecking Crew was a group of top racers in the late 1940s and early ’50s that included Mr. Tuman, Bobby Hill and Ernie Beckman.

Carl Cranke, a 10-time member of the U.S. International Six Days Trials team and a 2000 inductee to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, died Saturday. He was 71.

Mr. Cranke earned seven gold medals and two silvers in ISDT competition aboard Penton, KTM and Yamaha motorcycles. The ISDT is now known as the International Six Days Enduro.

The Maple Run, Burnt Mills and Dixon R. Miller Recreation Area trails in eastern Pennsylvania aren’t long individually, but can be combined to make for a great weekend of riding.

Start at the Maple Run loop trail in Pike County near the village of Pecks Pond, which offers an 8-mile loop trail. Maple Run is the easiest of the three trail systems, set in gently rolling, forested hills, with a few areas of rock and is a summer trail system.

Elvis Presley’s 1975 Harley Davidson FLH, with the original title in his name, is part of an auction dubbed “Artifacts of Hollywood and Music” that is scheduled for Nov. 28.

Kruse GWS Auctions, which is conducting the sale, estimates the bike will sell for at least $300,000. Other machines on the auction block include actor Lee Marvin’s 1971 Honda CT90 Trail and a custom promotional 1973 Honda ATC 70 three-wheeler ATV used by Michael Jackson and his brothers while they were in the musical group the Jackson 5.

Cyriel “Babe” DeMay, an AMA Grand National competitor who raced from the early 1950s to the late 1960s before becoming a leading tuner and team owner on the AMA Grand National circuit, died Oct. 26 at his home in Rossville, Tenn. He was 88.

Don’t be fooled by the name. The Mountain Ridge ATV Park near Reels Corners in southcentral Pennsylvania welcomes dirt bikes as well as ATVs to tackle its more than 140 miles.

The park boasts more than 2,500 acres and access to another 500 acres. There are easy, moderate and hard trails for riders of all skill levels. Most of the trails are one-way, although there are a few access roads that are two-way.

The park has a large parking area and can accommodate trailers and large motor homes. There’s also a concession stand on-site that offers beverages and snacks as well as limited supplies of personal hygiene products, camping supplies and firewood. Picnic tables are provided.
