Available across three states, AMA-branded licenses plates allow riders to support the AMA while also representing the organization on your motorcycle, car or trailer. These special license plates are available through each state’s motor vehicle agency.

New York
The AMA plate is a choice among the state of New York’s “picture plates.” Members can request the AMA plate in person at their local DMV office, by phone, by mail, or online.
The AMA plate is currently available for passenger vehicles and motorcycles.
The AMA plate is one of the “organizational plates” in the state of Ohio. Members can request the AMA plate in person at their local deputy registrar license agency, online at oplates.com, or by mail, to the address listed on their renewal notice from the BMV.
Currently available for passenger vehicles, non-commercial trucks, recreational vehicles, house vehicles, motorcycles, non-commercial trailers, and unconventional vehicles.
The AMA plate is currently only available for passenger vehicles, with motorcycle plates in the works. Pennsylvania requires the purchaser to complete an application process, which requires the applicant to mail the application to the American Motorcyclist Association (13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147) with a check made out to the organization.
