Suzuki’s M109R B.O.S.S. tops the Boulevard line in 2021

Suzuki’s Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. (Blacked Out Special Suzuki) performance cruiser comes in two new paint schemes in 2021 and sits at the top of the company’s Boulevard line, which includes the C50T touring bike and the C50 standard cruiser.

The 2021 Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. sports an aggressive look with slash-cut mufflers, drag bars, blacked-out engine covers and a distinctive headlight. A tail cowl can replace passenger seat for an even more aggressive look. The choice of colors for 2021: Candy Daring Red and Glass Sparkle Black or Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black.

The performance cruiser is powered by a 109-cubic-inch (1,783cc), eight-valve, liquid-cooled V-twin engine that features huge 4.4-inch (112mm) forged aluminum-alloy pistons providing gobs of power and torque. Fuel injection and electric start are part of the bike’s package, as well as shaft drive and a five-speed transmission a high fifth gear ratio for highway cruising.

The bike has blacked-out, inverted telescopic front forks with 46mm stanchion tubes and 5.1 inches of travel. There’s a solo shock in the back. Stopping power is handled by radial-mounted, dual front brakes similar to the brakes on a GSX-R1000R and a single disc in the rear. The bike’s tubeless tires are 130/70R18 in front and a 240/40R18 in back that the company says is the widest rear tire ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle.

The gas tank holds 5.2 gallons. MSRP: $15,249.

The 2021 Suzuki Boulevard C50T, meanwhile, is a touring machine with a new Pearl Brilliant White paint job and an MSRP of $9,599.

The C50T features a 50-cubic-inch (805cc), 45-degree V-twin engine, five-speed transmission, shaft drive, height-adjustable and removeable windscreen, studded leather-texture seats, matching saddlebags and a 4.1-gallon gas tank. The whitewall tires are 16-inch front and 15-inch rear, mounted on spoke-style chrome wheels. Wheelbase: 65.2 inches. Seat height: 27.6 inches.

For those who prefer a standard cruiser, Suzuki offers its Boulevard C50 in new colors: Candy Daring Red or Solid Iron Gray. The classic styling includes a kicked-out fork, valance-style fenders and staggered dual exhaust system.

The bike’s features include a 50 cubic-inch (805cc), 45-degree V-twin engine, a seat height of 27.6 inches and a 4.1-gallon gas tank 15-inch rear and 16-inch front tires mounted on spoke-style chrome wheels. MSRP: $8,349.
