The next generation of riders will have new bikes to learn and compete on with the launch of the 2023 Husqvarna EE 3 and EE 5 — a pair of electric minicycles aimed at the junior off-road market.

The EE 3 is designed as an entry-level bike for young riders to learn and develop off-road skills. Focused on competition and performance, the EE 5 aims to rival 50 cc gas-powered motorcycles.

Created with beginners in mind, the EE 3 has reduced power (3.8 kW vs. 5 kW) and seat height compared to its EE 5 counterpart. The EE 3 features a durable WP suspension which allows for advanced performance and control.

Comparing the batteries, the EE 3 and EE 5 have 648 Wh and 907 Wh lithium-ion batteries respectively. Both bikes feature quick charging, with the EE 5 taking 70 minutes to fully recharge after up to two hours of ordinary riding or 25 minutes of full-out competition conditions.

The EE 5, which found inspiration in the TC 50 motocross machine, features a chromium molybdenum frame, premium adjustable WP suspension, 12-inch front wheel and advanced lightweight construction. The lightweight racing machine is equipped with the latest WP XACT air fork and a WP XACT rear shock.

The EE 3 and EE 5 are available starting October at authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles Dealers.
