AMA National No. 1 plate recipients to be determined in Tucson, Ariz.
PICKERINGTON, Ohio (Oct. 22, 2021) — With the Supermoto season coming to a close, AMA National No. 1 plates are up for grabs out in the desert.
Running Nov. 6-7, the two-day 2021 AMA Supermoto National Championship will take place at Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Ariz. With two rounds each day, classes include Open Pro, Pro Lites, Amateur National, Open Asphalt, Amateur Asphalt and Supermini.
“The unique nature of the double-double weekend challenges competitors to push themselves to the limit,” Ken Saillant, AMA Track Racing manager, said. “Four championship points-paying events in two days is the ultimate test of rider skill and machine reliability.”
The series is promoted by DRT Racing.
With jumps and turns over dirt and pavement, Supermoto mixes roadracing, motocross and dirt track skills and action, with a wide range of track locations.
