National Powersports Dealers Association comes in as presenting sponsor while Dealernews will be the event’s Livestream partner

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (August 31, 2023) — As the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame prepares to welcome the Class of 2023 to its hallowed halls during AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Days, which runs from Sept. 14-17, IronLilly.com will serve as the title sponsor of the event while the National Powersports Dealer Association (NPDA) will be the presenting sponsor and Dealernews takes over as the livestream sponsor.

“We are grateful to IronLilly.com, the NPDA and Dealernews for their commitment to supporting AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Days,” AMA Marketing and Communications Director Joy Burgess said. “We look forward to celebrating the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 with our partners and guests during the four-day event, which will be jampacked with plenty of exciting activities for motorcycle enthusiasts.”

IronLilly.com strives to share the story of Lilly Beatrice (Matheny) Farrow who, along with her husband A.D. Farrow, opened and operated one of the most prestigious motorcycle dealerships of the 20th Century. After her husband passed away, she continued the business as the first female motorcycle dealer in the United States.

IronLilly.com is proud to be the title sponsor of AMA Hall of Fame Days,” said President of Iron Lilly LLC, Yochanan Marcellino, “and we’re honored to be part of this very special event that celebrates motorcycling’s best and brightest men and women. We congratulate the Class of 2023 for their achievements and look forward to being part of this prestigious event in person.”

Founded in 2021, the NPDA works to empower franchised and independent powersports dealers while offering special services, products, programs, education and advocacy to its members in order to foster a healthy and successful powersports industry.

“The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame celebrates the men and women of our industry, who through their significant contributions, have shaped the motorcycle world that we know and love,” NPDA Vice-Chair Bob Kee said. “The National Powersports Dealer Association was formed to represent the voice and needs of our nation’s motorcycle and powersports dealers. As an organization, the NPDA hopes to reshape the industry into a more cohesive, growing and prosperous body of dealers nationwide.

“Thus, it makes perfect sense for the NPDA to be a Presenting Partner for the AMA Hall of Fame Ceremony and Hall of Fame Days this September,” he continued. “By supporting the AMA, our organization will help honor those giants who have come before us and made our sport what it is today.”

As the leading voice of the powersports industry, the Dealernews magazine provides an accurate view of the issues and challenges facing powersports dealers by going directly to the source and working closely with powersports dealers around the country.

“Having served as the voice of the powersports industry since 1965, Dealernews is honored to step up as the live streaming partner of the AMA Hall of Fame awards,” Dealernews owner Bob Althoff said. “We know not everyone can close up shop and head to the induction ceremony, so it makes sense to spread the word via the livestream.

“Just as the AMA honors its own with the annual Hall of Fame inductions, we want to thank dealers for all they do to sustain and grow our industry, support our sport, enhance our lifestyle and serve as pillars of our community. How better to do that than by sharing the induction ceremony with everyone?” Althoff added.

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Violet Township Event Center in Pickerington, Ohio, and will celebrate the Hall of Fame Class of 2023, which includes Rita Coombs, Ryan Dungey, Barry Hawk, Grant Langston and Travis Pastrana. Following the Induction Ceremony, there will be a cocktail reception held at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.

The fun doesn’t end there, though. From Friday through Sunday, the AMA will host several other exciting activities for motorcycle enthusiasts, including Friday’s adventure ride through Southeastern Ohio, Saturday’s Bike Night and more.
