Malcolm Smith Adventures announces 2019 No Wimps in Baja ride dates

The following is an industry press release …

Riverside, California — Malcolm Smith Adventures announces the dates of its annual No Wimps in Baja off-road motorcycle ride. The event will begin in San Quintin, Mexico on January 26th, 2019 and will feature over 650 miles of epic singletrack with 5 days of riding. Unlike most Baja rides, the No Wimps ride is focused on experienced riders looking to challenge themselves with tough singletrack and cross-country riding.

“I’ve been going to Baja since I was very young,” says trail boss and son of Malcolm Smith, Alexander Smith. “And the No Wimps ride is really showcasing the best of what Baja has to offer: tough and technical riding in off-the-beaten track locations with incredible scenery. It promises to be a memory maker.”

While the event will be fully supported, No Wimps is a GPS-guided event where participants can ride at their own pace and enjoy the mountains and beaches of Baja in smaller groups. Chase vehicles and riders will provide support between destinations, and all accommodations and fuel at remote gas stops will be provided.

“As the name suggests, this isn’t a ride for everyone,” continues Smith. “There will be gnarly trails to challenge even top-level riders and you WILL be tired at the end of each day. But if you want to see the Baja that my father experienced during the early days of his exploring, the rough and untamed side of Baja, and truly feel a sense of adventure and accomplishment, then No Wimps is for you.”
