After weather washed away all the potential fun in the AMA’s springtime Bike Night, the most recent AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Fall Bike Night in early September had no rain in sight and plenty of fun to be had.
The biannual event is held at the AMA campus to raise funds for the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and to offer a chance for the community to enjoy a night of good times and things to do — whether on or off a bike.
“It was amazing to see the community show up to enjoy the event and to support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame,” said Amanda Donchess, Director of Membership Marketing and Services. “It is always great to see motorcyclists come together, and we hope to see even more join the fun in the spring.”
Saturday’s festivities saw motorcycles roll down the AMA campus’ driveway and up to the parking lot, which played host to food trucks, music and many motorcyclists. In the lower parking lot, attendees tried their luck at the motorcycle field games, which involved riding along a plank of wood, turning inside a tight circle and pushing a barrel across a field.
When eventgoers wanted to enjoy some air conditioning and catch up on their motorcycling history, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum was open for no charge.
With another bike night now in the rear-view mirror, the countdown to the Spring Bike Night has begun!
