AMA members to get 15 percent discount on Haynes, Chilton, Clymer manuals

Haynes North America becomes AMA Benefit Partner

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Haynes North America Inc., publisher of the popular Haynes, Chilton and Clymer repair manuals, offers members of the American Motorcyclist Association 15 percent discount on print and online manuals purchased through the company website.

“AMA members are hands on, and enjoy working on their motorcycles,” said AMA Director of Membership Marketing and Services Amanda Donchess. “This discount from Haynes will let AMA members buy detailed manuals for less to help them maintain and repair their bikes. Haynes has an expansive library, going back decades, so there’s something here for all members, particularly those with older and vintage machines.”

Each manual is written and photographed based on a complete disassembly and reassembly of the machine. This detailed process produces step-by-step procedures and more than 800 photographs that guide the user through every service and repair procedure.

The AMA member discount is in addition to any other discount offered by Haynes North America.

“We’re glad to provide this discount to AMA members and are proud to support the remarkable work AMA does for the riding community,” said Reed Trueblood, director of marketing at Haynes North America Inc. “We hope our manuals educate and empower AMA members to maintain and repair their machines themselves.”
