2024 AMA Hillclimb Grand Championship Slated for Aug. 2-4

Indianhead Motorcycle Club to host the three-day event in Red Wing, Minn.

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (Nov. 15, 2023)The 2024 AMA Hillclimb Grand Championship is set to run Aug. 2-4 in Red Wing, Minn., setting the stage for the nation’s best amateur hillclimb competitors to battle for AMA National No. 1 plates.

“We anticipate another highly competitive AMA Hillclimb Grand Championship in 2024,” said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. “Each year, the most accomplished amateurs in the sport compete in the event and we look forward to seeing who emerges victorious next year.”

Not only will racers compete for AMA National No. 1 plates, but several special awards will also be on the line during the three-day event. The AMA Hillclimb Racer of the Year, AMA Vet/Senior Hillclimb Racer of the Year, AMA ATV Hillclimb Racer of the Year and AMA Youth Hillclimb Racer of the Year will all be awarded during the competition.

In addition to the special AMA awards, the fastest competitor in a run-off race will be crowned King of the Hill. Riders with the 10 fastest times during the weekend will compete for the title in a one-run class at the end of the event on Aug. 4.
