2020 AMA Ice Race Grand Championship event postponed

New date and location for national championship motorcycle oval ice racing to be announced

The American Motorcyclist Association Ice Race National Championship event scheduled to take place in Milwaukee, Wis., on Jan. 12 has been postponed.

“Due to unseasonably warm weather, the promoter for one of our two AMA Ice Race National Championships has had to cancel the event that was to take place at Wilson Park in downtown Milwaukee,” AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant said. “We are working to find a new date and location for the AMA’s oval ice racing national championship.”

The canceled event was to feature oval course racing.

The national championship event featuring grand-prix style ice track racing is still scheduled to take place Jan. 19 at Kettle Moraine Lake in Campbellsport, Wis.
