Kawasaki Offers All-New 2021 KLX300 Dual-Sport, Supermoto

Designed for riders of all skill levels, the all-new Kawasaki 2021 KLX300 dual-sport machine offers a new choice for riders who want a double-duty machine for the road and trails.

If you just want a cool street machine, Kawasaki has you covered with its all-new KLX300SM Supermoto. That bike has Supermoto styling, 17-inch wheels and tires in the front and back, and is available in Lime Green/Ebony or Oriental Blue/Ebony colors with an MSRP of $5,999.

The KLX300 dual-sport bike is powered by a fuel-injected 292cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that Kawasaki says offers an easy-to-use-powerband, pulling hard at higher revs. In addition, the company says that optimized ignition timing and a gear-driven engine balancer contribute to a smooth engine. The fuel injection system and electric start make it easy to fire up the machine.

The KLX300 features a box-and-tubular-section steel perimeter frame with a 43 mm inverted cartridge-style fork up front and Kawasaki’s Uni-Trak suspension in the rear with an adjustable gas-charged shock.

The bike has a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel. Stopping power is handled by a twin-piston caliper grabbing a 250 mm disc in front and a single-piston caliper and 240 mm disc in back. Seat height: 35.2 inches. Kawasaki says the KLX300 has a fine-tuned seat design for added comfort on longer rides. The company also says that the curb weight is 302.1 pounds, the wheelbase is 56.7 inches and the fuel capacity is two gallons.

The digital instrument panel features a speedometer, bar-type tachometer, clock, dual trip meters and warning/indicator lamps.

Colors? Lime Green and Fragment Camo Gray. MSRP: $5,599 for Lime Green and $5,799 for Fragment Camo Gray. More info: kawasaki.com.
