The American Motorcyclist Association developed this Trail Boss Workshop exclusively for AMA members who want to lead group off-road rides more successfully and safely.  

Typically offered in the spring and fall of each year at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio (and occasionally at other locations), this workshop averages 1.5 hours in length and covers topics ranging from route planning, paperwork, supply access, emergency preparedness and response, managing volunteer workers, and more. Note: this workshop is not a certification, but rather a forum to share best practices and ideas.
