Each year, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame raffles off one or more significant motorcycles to serve as fund raisers for the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, the 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that raises money to support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and advance its mission of celebrating and preserving the rich tradition of motorcycling in America. Below are the motorcycles that are currently offered as part of this program.

Win This 1975 BMW R90S

Looking for a real piece of motorcycle history?

Here’s your chance! Back in 1972, the motorcycle division of Bavarian Motor Works — BMW — was at a critical crossroads, with some company higher-ups advising to sell or even close down the iconic two-wheeled division. Luckily for BMW and enthusiasts the world over, calmer heads prevailed. Two of those heads belonged to legendary auto marketer and product planner Robert Lutz and renowned auto and motorcycle designer Hans Muth.

The two collaborated on the now-legendary BMW R90S of 1973, a motorcycle that arguably saved the division from going the way of the Edsel. Suddenly, BMW had a premium, top-shelf motorcycle with which to battle the likes of Honda’s CB750 and Kawasaki’s Z1, maybe not in terms of pure performance but in craftsmanship, long-haul comfort, reliability and cachet.

This year’s AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Raffle Bike is a 1975-spec version of that ’73 legend, with a few from-the-factory upgrades in ergonomics, controls, braking and suspension. Combining classic-era lines and a high degree of all-around competency, the R90S is an absolute keeper for any street bike enthusiast, young or old — and arguably one of the most desirable BMW motorcycles ever built.

You can receive one ticket for a $5 donation or five tickets for a $20 donation. Must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States to win.

Win This 1997 KTM 200 EXC Jackpiner

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Penton motorcycle ever sold, KTM released this limited-production dirt bike called the Jackpiner, in honor the similarly named Penton that housed the first full-size motorcycle engine that KTM ever built (Penton was an American off-road motorcycle built by KTM). There were only 133 Jackpiner editions sold, and all were numbered and had a sticker on the front fender with John Penton’s signature.

According to Dirt Bike Magazine, the significance of that 1997 motorcycle goes far beyond its short production run. It marked the beginning of a KTM dynasty that continues to this day. It was the first 200cc offering that KTM built, and the Jackpiner was the first bike with the PDS linkage-less rear suspension and one of the very first dirt bikes with a hydraulic clutch.

You can receive one ticket for a $5 donation or five tickets for a $20 donation. Must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States to win.

Win This 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary Edition

Celebrating the AMA’s 100th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the legendary Kawasaki Ninja of 1984, this 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary Edition joins a 1975 BMW R90S and 1997 KTM 200 EXC Jackpiner as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame raffle bikes for 2024.

And what an addition it is.

For years, enthusiasts bemoaned the lack of true 400cc street-supersport offerings in the U.S., with only one company offering a 400cc package Stateside back in the late 1980s.

But with the release of Kawasaki’s new 16,000-rpm ZX-4RR, and now this limited-edition 2024 Anniversary Edition model, that mostly elusive combination of light weight, high-rpm engine performance and sublime handling that’s only available in a true 400cc Supersport package is available to all at Kawasaki dealers nationwide.

And you can win it via the AMA’s latest Raffle Bike offering!

You can receive one ticket for a $5 donation or five tickets for a $20 donation. Must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States to win.
