Claim: Injured motorcyclists are uninsured and disproportionately rely upon the public to pay for their injuries.

Response: Motorcyclists are just as likely to be privately insured as any other road user.

A medical center study¹ reported that injured motorcyclists in the trauma center relied on public funds a lower percentage of the time than did automobile drivers to pay their hospital bills during the same time period.

A university study² reported that automobile drivers and motorcyclists have their medical costs covered by insurance at a nearly identical rate.

Conclusion: Injured motorcyclists are less likely than the general population to use public funds to pay for injuries sustained in crashes, and no more likely to be uninsured than other vehicle operators.

Machines must be based on Production motorcycles featuring 109-112cc horizontal four-stroke air-cooled engine configurations. All Stock and Stock Limited modifications allowed. Aftermarket engines and/or bores up to 212cc permitted. MX swingarms and inverted forks are allowed. No electric motorcycles permitted.  

Production motorcycles featuring 109-112cc horizontal four-stroke air-cooled engine configurations with automatic clutch. Modifications for comfort, durability and safety permitted. Stock exhaust, Swingarms and intake required. The 110 Stock class permits aftermarket fork and shock springs, as well as handguards. Other exceptions may be permitted if the technical inspector concludes they are for comfort, durability or safety. No MX style swingarms or inverted forks. 

Example eligible models include, but are not limited to: Kawasaki KLX 110, Honda CRF 110, Yamaha TTR 110, DRZ 110

• Disc brakes allowed (This is the class you will race a stock YCF110 and other off brand bikes that are 110cc)

Production motorcycles featuring vertical four-stroke air-cooled engine configurations with manual clutch and transmissions. No 12’’ rear wheel bikes allowed.  

Example eligible models include, but are not limited to: Yamaha TTR 125, Honda CRF 125F, CRF 150F, Honda XR/CRF 100, Suzuki DRZ 125, Kawasaki KLX 140 

Riders must be 35 years old or older on the date of the event. Eligible motorcycles include both Stock and Stock Limited machines. 

Riders must be 13 years or older on the date of the event. There are no power limitations on motorcycles. 19″ maximum front wheel.  

Example eligible models include, but are not limited to: Surron, E-Ride, Talaria, Ventus One, etc. No homemade bikes. 

Riders must be 4- to 8-years old on the date of the event. Eligible motorcycles include: Yamaha PW50, Suzuki JR50, Honda XR/CRF 50 and Yamaha TTR50. Additional models may be permitted at the technical inspector’s discretion, but performance race bikes (for example, Cobra or KTM 50cc models) are prohibited.
