AMA Referees are expected to help uphold the high standards of AMA-sanctioned competition. Below is information on referee training, as well as downloadable Referee Reports, and information for promoters who are looking for AMA-trained referees in their area. Please Note: AMA-certified referees are required to have an active AMA membership.

All training is done through the study of the AMA Competition Rulebook: 2023 AMA Competition Rulebook. Please review the Rulebook before taking any of the below Referee tests. Also see the 2023 Approved AMA Racing Rule Proposals Summary.
