AMA Referees are expected to help uphold the high standards of AMA-sanctioned competition. Below is information on referee training, as well as downloadable Referee Reports, and information for promoters who are looking for AMA-trained referees in their area. Please Note: AMA-certified referees are required to have an active AMA membership.

All training is done through the study of the 2024 AMA Competition Rulebook. Please review the Rulebook before taking any of the below Referee tests. Also see the 2023 Approved AMA Racing Rule Proposals Summary.
