Kenneth King: 2012 National Hare Scrambles East Super Senior B class champion
March 19, 2013
Kenneth King, of Columbus, Ga., earned the AMA national No. 1 plate in the Super Senior B class of the 2012 National Hare Scrambles East Series.
King didn't focus on the competition: "I really tried to not concentrate on the other riders and ride as best as I could."
King has been racing for 37 years and throughout that time has discovered that he prefers hare scrambles.
"I like hare scrambles better than other formats, and I like the varied and different courses across the country," he said.
As far as the future goes, King is not sure how long he will continue to race. However, he does plan to participate in a few local races for the 2013 season.
When he isn't racing, King has a passion for motorcycle race photography. Some of his shots have even been in Dirt Bike, Dirt Rider and Cycle News.
