  • AMA announces U.S. World Trophy Team for 2014 International Six Days Enduro

    The AMA has announced the U.S. World Trophy Team for the 89th International Six Days Enduro, the world's premier off-road world championship event. Leading the U.S. riders in San Juan, Argentina, Nov. 3-8, will be Mike Brown, Thad Duvall, Charlie Mullins, Zach Osborne, Taylor Robert and Kailub Russell.

    More than 27,000 fans witnessed a historical afternoon of racing at Saturday's 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, season opener, which took place in San Bernardino, California. The 450 Class winner Ryan Dungey and 250 Class winner Jeremy Martin emerged victorious in their respective classes, making history as the first Minnesota natives to sweep the winner's circle at the sixteenth running of the Red Bull Glen Helen National.

The FMF/KTM rider has won all four rounds held so far this year and this weekend he will be looking to extend an already healthy points lead at the Jester National Enduro, round five of the series on June 1st in Arrington, Virginia.

    On Sunday, the seventh round of the 2014 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, embarked upon Marvin's Mountain Top in Masontown, West Virginia for the third running of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer Run GNCC. Reigning XC1 Pro Class Champion Kailub Russell led the three-hour race from start to finish en route to his fourth win of the season.

    Thousands of Fast Friday’s Motorcycle Speedway fans kicked off the Memorial Day weekend taking in a hot night of racing action Friday night at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. The evening opened with a touching ceremony honoring members of the military past and present, a 15 by 25 foot flag was unfurled and Maria Viola of Rough and Ready sang our national anthem.

  • Janniro unbeatable in Fast Fridays week two

    Fast Fridays Motorcycle Speedway sped into its second week at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn Friday night and the racing action was as hot as the climbing outside temperature. It has only taken Billy Janniro a week to get back to his winning ways and establish that he hasn’t lost anything off his game during the off season. Janniro, the reigning USA National Speedway Champion, scored wins in both Division I main events for the first time in the short new season. Janniro’s skills on the track as the season gets rolling firmly re-establishes him as the man to beat at Fast Fridays, with a game plan to repeat as national champion, and places a large target on his back.
