Caselli 66: Ride the Dream chronicles career of national champion
May 01, 2014
On Nov. 15, one of America's greatest off-road racers of the 21st Century lost his life while chasing his dream.
Kurt Caselli was a multi-time AMA Hare & Hound national champion. He was a perennial captain of the U.S. team for the International Six Days Enduro. He was a leader, not just for teammates at KTM, but for every rider in the pits. Caselli's attitude, approachability and wisdom beyond his years earned him the respect of everyone his life touched.
The story about the man who became Kurt Caselli begins many years ago, however, when he was an up-and-coming youth rider in Southern California, riding with his dad across the desert.
That story is told in the new film Caselli 66: Ride the Dream. The production by Red Tide Pictures debuted this week and includes rare footage of Caselli's life and touching interviews with those who knew him best.
