International Speedway Corporation approved funding to redevelop the frontstretch of Daytona International Speedway, the Company’s 54-year-old flagship motorsports facility, to enhance the overall experience for its fans, marketing partners and the motorsports industry. This historic, multi-year project will break ground on July 5, 2013, and is targeted for completion in January 2016, in time for the 54th Rolex 24 At Daytona and the 58th DAYTONA 500.

It was a thrilling night of racing at Auburn’s Fast Fridays Motorcycle Speedway Friday night at the Gold Country Fairgrounds. Billy Janniro, in the final race of the night pulled off a stunning move on Auburn’s Tommy Hedden at the finish line of the scratch main event. In a move that had the Fast Fridays fans on their feet cheering, Janniro came from behind on the inside and with a burst of power coming out of turn four caught Hedden by a wheel at the finish line.

The American Motorcyclist Association is pleased to announce the U.S. riders who will contest the 88th International Six Days Enduro. Led by the World Trophy Team of Mike Brown, Kurt Caselli, Thad Duvall, Charlie Mullins, Zach Osborne and Taylor Robert, a contingent of 31 U.S. riders will face the best off-road racers in the world in Sardinia, Italy, Sept. 30-Oct. 5.

Mike Brown kept his streak going at round two of the 2013 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, fueled by Monster Energy and presented by Lucas Oil inside the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. The FMF KTM rider had a nearly perfect day by setting the fastest time during the daytime hot laps, winning his heat race and finishing a close second in the night time hot laps before leading every lap of the main event.

June 5, 2013 - MAVTV, America's fastest-growing independent cable network, announced today that it will join the DIRECTV line-up starting June 10 on Channel 219 between the Golf Channel (218) and NBC Sports (220). Since taking control of the Network in September of 2011, owner Lucas Oil Products, Inc has added 22 million American households to its original four million for a total of 26 million. MAVTV American Real expects to top 30 million households by the end of 2013.

Another page was added to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross history book as the inaugural Built Ford Tough Tennessee National took place on Saturday at Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn. For the first time in 15 years, the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, made a stop in the Southeast region. At round 3 of the 12-race series, new winners emerged in both the 450 and 250 Class as teammates Ryan Dungey (450) and Marvin Musquin (250) each secured their first overall win in 2013.
